Central Island Agricultural Research Institute Employees Welfare Association (CIARIEWA) of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair today organized a farewell function to bid farewell to Shri. Krishna Roy, Skilled Supporting Staff of this Institute. He has served for more than 30 years in the Institute and retired on 31stJanuary, 2023 on attaining the age of superannuation.
Dr. Eaknath B. Chakurkar, Director and Patron, CIARIEWA while delivering his presidential address, expressed his happiness over the conduct of the farewell programme by the team and placed on record the sincere service rendered by Shri. Krishna Roy, Skilled Supporting Staff.
Dr. S.K. Zamir Ahmed, Dr. P.K. Singh, Dr. Jai Sunder,Dr. T.P. Swarnam, Dr. T. Subramani and Shri. P. Simhachalamalso spoke on the occasion. Earlier, Shri. Krishna Roy shared his experiences. At the outset, Dr. K. Saravanan welcomed the gathering and the programme ended with vote of thanks by Shri. P. Kakesh Rao. Shri. K. Shyam Sundar Rao coordinated the conduct of the farewell function.
