ICAR- CIARI, Port Blair conducted a workshop on "Application of Rajbhasha Hindi in administrative works" on 07.08.2024 at Dr. T. R. Dutta Conference Hall. On this occasion, Shri. Nirmal Kumar Dubey, Assistant Director & Head of Office, Regional Implementation Office (Eastern region), Kolkata graced as a chief guest. Dr. Jai Sunder, Director I/c presided over the function. Chief guest stressed on the use of rajbhasha in the day to day office work. He delivered a talk on “Mental barrier towards official language Hindi" and highlighted the history and importance of Hindi language Nationally and Internationally for making India united and strengthen. Shri. Kanisk Bhukar, Administrative Officer presented a talk on "use of rajbhasha Hindi in administrative works while dealing of e-files and other software's". In his address, Dr Jai Sunder appreciated the programme and highlighted the need and importance of Hindi as a Rajbhasha for effective administrative and extension works of ICAR-CIARI and emphasized to conduct more workshops in various topics for betterment of entire scientific, technical and administrative fraternity. The programme was coordinated by Shri. Shyam Sundar Rao, Hindi Cell I/c. A total of 45 participants, comprising of scientists, technical, administrative, supporting staff attended the programme.
