Day 1

Swachhata pledge taken by the Staff of ICAR-CIARI

Day 2

The clean-up activities were initiated on the forenoon of 28.09.2023 at the interior and exterior parts of the central lab premises of ICAR-CIARI, Garacharma campus. The staff of ICAR-CIARI has visited the divisional premises and taken up cleaning activities which include the removal of trash, and old materials lying in the corridors. The event coordinators also advised the sanitary workers to take care on a daily basis in maintaining the cleanliness of the washrooms in the Central lab premises. The exterior part of the central lab premises was also cleaned which included the removal of old waste, plastic trash, and the cleaning of the vegetative growth on the wall of the lab building

Day 3

The clean-up activities were initiated on the forenoon of 29.09.2023 at the exterior parts of the KVK premises of ICAR-CIARI, Sipighat campus. The staff of ICAR-CIARI has visited the KVK premises and taken up cleaning activities which include the removal of trash, and old materials lying in the corridors. The exterior part of the KVK premises was also cleaned which included the removal of vegetation and dumped in the vermicompost unit to produce vermicompost,

Day 4

The clean-up activities were initiated on the forenoon of 30.09.2023 at the residential colony of ICAR-CIARI, Garacharma campus. The staff of ICAR-CIARI has visited the residential colony and taken up cleaning activities which include the removal of trash, and old materials lying in the residential area.

Day 5

The clean-up activities to clean the water nalla, rain water harvesting and drainages were initiated on the forenoon of 01.10.2023 at the ICAR-CIARI, Garacharma campus. The staff of ICAR-CIARI has visited the campus and taken up cleaning activities which include the removal of trash, and cleaning of the drainage, water nallah etc.

Day 6

Awareness programme and valedictory function of the SHS fortnight programme conducted by ICAR-CIARI Port Blair. The staff of ICAR-CIARI were attended the meeting chaired by the Director, ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair.
