Central Island Agricultural Research Institute Employees Welfare Association (CIARIEWA) of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair, on 16th February 2024, bid farewell to Shri. Lakhan Singh, Technical Assistant on its transfer to ICAR-NIPB, New Delhi.
Dr. Eaknath B. Chakurkar, Director and Patron, CIARIEWA greeted Mr. Lakhan Singh with a floral bouquet and there after advised him to avail the opportunity available at NIPB, New Delhi to gain expertise in the field of posting. Further, he asked him to be a representative of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair for any official purpose. .
Shri Lakhan Singh, who had joined the Institute in 2018, after working in division of Field Crop, Natural Resource Management & Horticulture and Forestry got relived today in the afternoon of 16.02.2024 from ICAR-CIARI to join NIPB, New Delhi on transfer. He emotionally thanked each and every one of the CIARIEWA family with folded hands for support extended to him for the period of posting at Port Blair from all staff of ICAR-CIARI. .
Dr. Ajit Arun Waman, Scientist in-charge, Horticulture farm, Sippighat was present along with Dr. S. K. Zamir Ahmed, General Secretary, CIARIEWA during the occasion.
