CIARIEWA Bids FAREWELL To Staff

CIARIEWA of ICAR-CIARI conducted a farewell programme to bid farewell to its supporting staff Shri. Chotu Tirkey and Shri. Nicolas Belong on superannuation from service in this month and two Scientific staff Miss. Deepitha R.P.and Mrs. Sreepriya Prakasan, who are on transfer to mainland ICAR Institute.

Speaking on the occassion Dr E. B. Chakurkar , Director CIARI & Patron CIARIEWA expressed his happiness on the quantum of work done both by supporting and the scientific staff in their respective field. He wished best wishes to the retired staff and advised the young scientists to take up more practical oriented work in their respective institute which will help them to build up their career.

The guests of the day Miss. Deepitha R.P. , Mrs. Sreepriya Prakasan, Shri. Chotu Tirkey and Shri.Nicolas Belong shared their experiences. Dr.B.A.Jerard, Dr.R.Kirubasankar ,Dr.P.K.Singh, Dr. Y. Ramakrishna, Dr.Abirami, Dr.Jai Sundar, also spoke during the programme.

At the outset Dr.Debasis Bhattacharya , Chairman welcomed the august gathering Dr. S. K. Zamir Ahmed ,General secretary introduced the guests and Shri.Kakesh Rao proposed vote of thanks. Mr.Shyamsundar Rao coordinated the entire programme along with all the executive members. The farewell programme was attended by staff from Garacharma, Sippighat, Marine Hill & Bloomsdale Farm.
