Employees Welfare Association of ICAR- Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Sri Vijaya Puram (CARIEWA) conducted a farewell for Dr. T. Subramani, Senior Scientist and welcome of two new entrants- Mr. Vishal Saroha, Assistant and Mr. Hritik Raushan, Technician on January 31, 2024. Dr. Subramani got transferred to the ICAR-Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu after 16 years of his service at ICAR-CIARI. At the outset, Mr. K. Erraya, Executive Member, CIARIEWA welcomed the gathering. Dr. Pooja Bohra, General Secretary, CIARIEWA presented the formal introduction of the new and transferred staff and wished them the best for their careers. The institute employees shared their experiences with Dr. T. Subramani over the period of his service here and welcomed the new entrants- Mr. Vishal Saroha, Assistant and Mr. Hritik Raushan, Technician to the CIARIEWA family.
Dr. Jai Sunder, Chairperson, CIARIEWA expressed his views about the contributions of the transferred staff while wishing him a successful career in the new place of posting. He also welcomed the new staff members and motivated them to perform excellently in their work area. At the end, Mr. Shyam Sunder Rao, Joint Secretary, CIARIEWA proposed formal vote of thanks. Dr. Abhilash, Executive Member, CIARIEWA coordinated the programme.
