Regional Station Minicoy of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair conducted “Agricultural Education Day at Minicoy, Lakshadweep” from 15th November 2022 to 3rd December 2022 with participation of staff, school students, teachers at its Regional campus.
Speaking on the inaugural occasion, the Chief Guest Dr. Shrikant R. Tapdiya, the Deputy Collector, Minicoy expressed his happiness for initiatives of Regional station and the winners were felicitated during the occasion.
The team of ICAR-CIARI, Regional Station, Minicoy conducted painting, quiz competition, student-scientist interactive meet and open day for the school students.Atotal of 239 students participated, wherein the winners were felicitated during the occasion. The team comprising of Dr. Gladston Y. Scientist in-charge ICAR-CIARI, RS, Minicoy and Dr. Ajina S. M. Scientist interacted with the students, teachers and impressed the views on carrier opportunities in agriculture.
