2.Technology demonstration of scientific goatery production

  1. Genetic upgrading through superior bucks.
  2. Establishment of goatery demonstration units at kisan hub and farmers field.

3.Fellowship programme for farmers

    Primary Function:

  1. To be a bridge between the ICAR-CIARI and the farmers with technological demonstration of goatry and poultry.

    2. Responsibilities:

  2. To document all observations/operations of technological demonstration on goatry and poultry at fields
  3. To educate the farmers of her circle about the importance of goatry and poultry and monitor farm operation carried in the fields.
  4. To visit frequently Biotech Project Hub of CIARI at weeks/months
  5. To encourage farmers to learn about identified best practices/inputs supplied and to adopt the practices
  6. To document visits to farmers on his/her smart phone for sharing further use.
  7. To guide the local department staff and neighbouring farmers to the demonstration unit for showcasing
  8. To accompany the project team to the demonstration unit, during field visits.
  9. To arrange farmers meeting/ field day/ at the demonstration unit and maintain reports.
  10. To make necessary arrangements to organize field days at selected demonstration unitsin Liaisonwith KVK and CIARI.
  11. To attend any other activities as assigned by Hub facilitator.
