ATIC has been established at this Institute on 11th October 2000 for the following purpose:
- To Provide "Single window delivery system" for the products and species available from the institute to the farmers and other interested end users as a process of innovation in technology dissemination at the institute level.
- To facilitate direct access to the farmers to the institutional resources available in terms of technology advice, technology products etc. for reducing technology dissemination losses.
- To provide mechanism for feed back from the users to the Institute.
